7: 1 – 5 You hypocrite, remove the wooden beam
from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your
brother’s eye.
Why does the splinter in my brother’s eye bother me? Am I
worried that if I remove the beam from my eye, I will clearly see a bigger beam
in my own eye?
Action: The next time someone else’s sin really
bothers you, ask yourself if you are guilty of the same sin.
