Thought for Wednesday August 29

Blessed are those who fear the Lord.
Blessed are you who fear the LORD,
who walk in his ways!
For you shall eat the fruit of your handiwork;
blessed shall you be, and favored.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord.

Mark 6: 17 – 29  The king said to the girl, "Ask of me whatever you wish and I will grant it to you."  He even swore many things to her,  "I will grant you whatever you ask of me, even to half of my kingdom." She went out and said to her mother,  "What shall I ask for?"

What would I ask for if offered up to half of a kingdom?  What would I advise my child to ask for?

Action:  Ask God for what you want, and give thanks for what you have.
