4: 13 – 17 Beloved: Come now, you who say, "Today or
tomorrow we shall go into such and such a town, spend a year there doing business, and make a
profit"– you have no idea
what your life will be like tomorrow. You are a puff
of smoke that appears briefly and then disappears.
Does
this passage make me a little uncomfortable?
Can I have a lasting effect on the world even if I am just a puff of
smoke?
Action: Spend a few minutes in the morning thinking
about how you can use this day to make a difference. Spend a few minutes at night reviewing how
you did.
